"It Wasn't How it Seemed" was inspired by a recurring night dream I had years ago when I was very young. I would be looking out of the window and then all of a sudden a full-sized plane would fly through the trees, heading straight for the window I was standing at. In the dream, I would run and hide under the bed and hear the plane smashing though the window, glass landing all over the floor. When I looked up to see the damage, it turned out that the plane was just a toy.
